Bradford County students will go back to class on Tuesday. All of our Southeast Georgia counties started school last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">We know the first day of school always seems to come with a lot of questions about transportation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">If you have any questions or issues with your child\u2019s bus, we have the numbers for each district\u2019s transportation department and bus hotline listed below, along with info for districts that have school bus tracker apps.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duval<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Each year, 860 buses transport approximately 48,000 students on more than 3,600 daily trips to Duval County Public Schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The bus companies that contract with DCPS are <b>Durham School Services<\/b> and <b>Student Transportation of America (STA)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Families can contact the bus companies for general questions such as the location of a bus or estimated time of arrival at a bus stop. You can find the contact info for each bus company, organized by which area of town the bus route serves, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duvalschools.org\/page\/busvendor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.duvalschools.org\/page\/busvendor\">www.duvalschools.org\/page\/busvendor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The DCPS Transportation Department is open from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. After-hours emergency calls are available from 6 a.m.-7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The main phone number is<b> 904-858-6200.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Bus route and stop information for your child is available in your <a href=\"https:\/\/fs.duvalschools.org\/adfs\/ls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Focus account<\/a>. In addition, parents can use the system to send messages directly to the SJCSD Transportation Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">To get started, families should create an account on the <a href=\"https:\/\/sjcsd.mybusplanner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>BusPlanner website<\/b><\/a> or on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mychipmunkapp.com\/planning.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>Chipmunk app<\/b><\/a> using the <b>same email address<\/b> associated with their Home Access Center (HAC) account. SJCSD encourages all families with bus riders to register early and stay informed.
