A passenger in one of the vehicles was declared dead at the scene, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>No other major injuries were reported, police said. Officials are investigating the incident, and the westbound lanes will remain closed while investigators are on the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Around 8:31 a.m., all lanes remained closed and traffic was backed up to Woodhaven Boulevard, according to TxDOT.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Around 8:30 a.m., all lanes remained closed and traffic was backed up to Woodhaven Boulevard, officials said.
