PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A man has died after he was shot late Sunday night at a motel in north Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to the reported shooting at a Motel 6 near 27th Avenue and Union Hills Drive<\/a> around 10:45 p.m. They found a man with a gunshot injury on the ground. <\/p>\n

Firefighters responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to police. He has not yet been publicly identified. <\/p>\n

Another man believed to be involved in the shooting was detained at the scene.<\/p>\n
