In fact, it is far behind Jr NTR\u2019s last release Devara and nowhere close to Ram Charan\u2019s Game Changer.<\/p>\n<p>In the last 24 hours, the film saw its biggest jump so far in pre-sales \u2014 but that \u201cbiggest\u201d growth was only 20%. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 hits theatres on August 14.<\/p>\n<p>So far in the USA, the film has grossed $398K in advance bookings for premiere day, with 14.8K tickets sold across 1.8K shows. This is up from $331K the previous day.<\/p>\n<p>When compared to Game Changer, War 2 has managed just 60% of the latter\u2019s final premiere pre-sales. Ram Charan\u2019s film had registered a strong $657.9K.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the challenge, War 2 is clashing with Rajinikanth\u2019s Coolie 2 at the box office.
