{"id":137499,"date":"2025-08-11T17:34:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-11T17:34:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/137499\/"},"modified":"2025-08-11T17:34:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T17:34:11","slug":"girl-13-suffers-serious-injuries-in-crash-with-teen-driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/137499\/","title":{"rendered":"Girl, 13, suffers serious injuries in crash with teen driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/timesofsandiego.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSC_0665-e1544141558345.jpg?ssl=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/DSC_0665.jpg\" alt=\"Paramedics\" class=\"wp-image-76496\"\/><\/a>(Photo by Alexander Nguyen\/Times of San Diego)<\/p>\n<p>A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was struck by a teen driver while riding an electric motorcycle in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiego.gov\/citycouncil\/cd5\/communities\/blackmountainranch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Mountain Ranch<\/a> area, authorities said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred at around 9:20 p.m. Sunday when a 16-year-old behind the wheel of a northbound pickup truck made a left turn and struck the girl.<\/p>\n<p>Both vehicles were facing circular-green signal lights at the time, but the driver of the pickup allegedly violated the girl\u2019s right of way, according to the San Diego Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Police officials said the girl suffered a fractured right femur.
