The agency has been partnering with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagosfoodbank.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Greater Chicago Food Depository<\/a> since mid-June to supplement Chicago Public Schools\u2019 lunch program, providing families with stability through the summer when they can\u2019t count on school meals during the week.<\/p>\n<p>All meals are served Monday through Friday on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning with <a href=\"https:\/\/c\/Users\/JMajka\/AppData\/Local\/Microsoft\/Windows\/INetCache\/Content.Outlook\/9MF5I8ZO\/SFSP%20Cold%20Breakfast%20July%202025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">breakfast from 8:30\u201310:30 a.m<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/c\/Users\/JMajka\/AppData\/Local\/Microsoft\/Windows\/INetCache\/Content.Outlook\/9MF5I8ZO\/SFSP%20Hot%20Lunch%20July%202025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">lunch 12:30\u20132:30 p.m.<\/a>\u00a0Each site serves an average of 25 kids per meal, with some feeding up to\u00a050 kids per meal, according to CHA.<\/p>\n<p>The program will return next summer, said the agency.<\/p>\n<p>The first day of the new school year for Chicago Public Schools is Aug. 18.
