Datasite<\/a> has acquired\u00a0Blueflame AI<\/a> to provide additional artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities for dealmakers involved in projects like mergers and acquisitions (M&A).<\/p>\n

The acquisition adds Blueflame AI\u2019s agentic AI solutions for investment and financial services to Datasite\u2019s AI-powered workflow collaboration and automation solutions for M&A, investment and strategic projects, the companies said in a Monday (Aug. 11)\u00a0press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These will be complemented by the AI-native, private market intelligence of\u00a0Grata<\/a>, which Datasite acquired<\/a> in June, Datasite CEO and President\u00a0Rusty Wiley<\/a> said in the release.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlueflame\u2019s agentic AI solutions will expand the collective capacity of our user base, automating complex workflows and enabling full scope analysis,\u201d Wiley said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgentic AI solutions require quality underlying content combined with secure data permissioning,\u201d Wiley added. \u201cCombining Datasite, Grata and Blueflame\u2019s resources will create a unique offering.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Blueflame\u2019s AI-native, large language model (LLM) agnostic platform is used with internal systems, data rooms, proprietary data sources and publicly available information, it drives efficiencies by connecting fragmented data sources used in deal sourcing, due diligence, market research and fundraising activities, according to the release.<\/p>\n

Blueflame will join Datasite\u2019s Intelligence Unit and continue to be led by\u00a0Raj Bakhru<\/a>, who founded the company in 2023 with\u00a0Henry Lindemann<\/a>, per the release.<\/p>\n

Its agentic AI solution will benefit from unique data provided by Datasite and Grata, Bakhru said in the release.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to transform dealmakers\u2019 ability to surface what matters and automate the repeatable to help get more deals done, faster and better,\u201d Bakhru said.<\/p>\n

When Datasite announced in June that\u00a0it\u00a0acquired<\/a> Grata, Wiley said in a press release that the combination would create \u201ca unique market intelligence offering for enterprises globally.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGrata has comprehensive, accurate and searchable data on private companies,\u201d Wiley said. \u201cCombine that with the Datasite Group\u2019s anonymized and aggregated insights \u2014 from the largest and most trusted database in the world, capturing over 55,000 projects every year \u2014 and you\u2019ve got an unmatched powerhouse of market intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n
