The details<\/strong><\/p>\n Originally created in 2012 as a blog to help inform local parents and guardians about school choice, SDN has expanded over the last 13 years into a multifaceted school choice resource.<\/p>\n Designed to reflect an expanded focus, the organization has widened its resources to fit the evolving educational landscape that includes a wide variety of choice schools, such as open-enrollment charter schools, in-district charter schools, magnet schools and private schools. Additionally, the name change from SA Charter Moms also reflects its goal of serving all parents and caregivers.<\/p>\n SDN services include an online school search map, enrollment guides, a website with a full Spanish translation, the school discovery day series, town halls, discussion groups and easily available information on all school types.<\/p>\n The rebrand also brings added staff and added bilingual communications through the non-profit\u2019s various social media sites and its rebranded website.
