Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the chase was on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The suspects then made their way to the San Fernando Valley. At one point, they were driving the wrong direction on the 5 Freeway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Then, they jumped out of the pickup truck and carjacked a big rig. The driver jumped out, and the suspects &#8212; who were believed to be armed and dangerous &#8212; drove away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Law enforcement chased the suspects in the tanker truck into downtown L.A. While the chase was ongoing, the ABC7 news desk got calls from truck drivers who said the big rig wasn&#8217;t carrying hazardous materials, and was likely carrying milk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">At one point, the suspects drove the wrong way on the 10 Freeway. Fortunately, it appeared no one was hit or hurt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Around 11:30 p.m., the two suspects bailed from the tanker truck and carjacked a third vehicle &#8212; another pickup truck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The chase continued into Boyle Heights, where the suspects stopped, got out, and switched seats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Shortly after that, the suspects dumped the stolen pickup truck, and police lost sight of them after they carjacked a fourth vehicle and sped away at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Avenue and Mission Road &#8212; nearly 50 miles from where the chase started.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KABC Television, LLC.
