They’ll face competition from Manchester City and Chelsea, granted, but Sir Jim Ratcliffe needs to go all out for the Italian.

The goalkeeper slot has been a problem child around Old Trafford for some time now, with Andre Onana not doing the business around Carrington after his Inter Milan arrival in 2023.

Donnarumma would almost guarantee that this problem becomes fixed.
