{"id":139250,"date":"2025-08-12T08:55:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T08:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/139250\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T08:55:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T08:55:12","slug":"two-people-killed-in-chula-vista-car-crash-nbc-7-san-diego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/139250\/","title":{"rendered":"Two people killed in Chula Vista car crash \u2013 NBC 7 San Diego"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two people were killed Monday night in a car crash in Chula Vista.<\/p>\n<p>It happened just before 8 p.m., near the intersection of Apache Drive and Telegraph Canyon Road.<\/p>\n<p>A Subaru was headed east on Telegraph Canyon Road, making a left turn onto Apache Drive, when the westbound Mustang broad-sided it, according to Chula Vista police. <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/map.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to cut four people out of the Subaru. Police say a man who they assume was the driver, died, along with one of his passengers.  The two other passengers were hospitalized. <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/subaru-crash.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>A white Subaru is shown flipped on it&#8217;s side after a fata crash in Chula Vista, August 11, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Police told NBC 7 the driver of the maroon Mustang, a man in his 40s, was also taken to the hospital. <\/p>\n<p>No word on their conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Police added no word on whether speed was a factor as they work to determine what happened.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two people were killed Monday night in a car crash in Chula Vista.
