{"id":139702,"date":"2025-08-12T12:57:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T12:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/139702\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T12:57:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T12:57:09","slug":"nba-christmas-schedule-includes-rockets-lakers-and-cavs-knicks-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/139702\/","title":{"rendered":"NBA Christmas schedule includes Rockets-Lakers and Cavs-Knicks \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Christmas won&#8217;t arrive for another four months, but that&#8217;s not stopping the NBA from getting in the holiday spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The league announced its five-game Christmas Day schedule for 2025 on Tuesday, and it features some marquee matchups, especially out West.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at the full NBA Christmas schedule, which includes the reigning champs on their home floor, a LeBron-KD matchup and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/sports\/nba\/mavericks-cooper-flagg-no-1-overall-pick-2025-nba-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">No. 1 overall draft pick Cooper Flagg&#8217;s<\/a> holiday debut:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The NBA will feature five games on Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25) for the 18th consecutive year, with ABC and ESPN both televising each matchup. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GjmfyljacD\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/GjmfyljacD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NBA Communications (@NBAPR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBAPR\/status\/1955239039176487366?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">August 12, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Christmas craziness will begin at Madison Square Garden, where Donovan Mitchell and the Cavs will battle Jalen Brunson and the Knicks in a contest between Eastern Conference hopefuls. It will mark the Knicks&#8217; 58th Christmas Day appearance, the most of any NBA franchise.<\/p>\n<p>The action will shift to Oklahoma City, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/sports\/nba\/thunder-pacers-nba-finals-game-7-score\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">defending NBA champion Thunder<\/a> will welcome Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, who are on the Christmas docket for the first time since 2018.<\/p>\n<p>From the 2023 No. 1 pick to the 2025 No. 1 pick, Flagg and the Mavs will head to San Francisco to take on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/tag\/steph-curry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Steph Curry<\/a> and the Warriors.
