However, the Truck Series\u00a0is delivering\u00a0a lot of movement, including a\u00a0potential shakeup involving Corey\u00a0Heim and Kaden Honeycutt.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday\u2019s episode of\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dirtymomedia.com\/doorbumperclear\/episode\/1a90653f\/connor-zilisch-and-josh-williams-hard-hits-at-the-glen\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Door, Bumper, Clear<\/a>\u00a0podcast, host and spotter Freddie Kraft\u00a0said that Honeycutt is signing\u00a0with Toyota and\u00a0it\u2019s obvious\u00a0that he\u2019ll be\u00a0driving the No. 11 for Tricon Garage\u00a0next season.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cHe (Honeycutt) is leaving Niece Motorsports. He is signing with a Toyota team. You can probably put two and two together that he\u2019s going to be the one to replace Heim in the 11.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Freddie Kraft on Kaden Honeycutt\u2019s Truck Series team in 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsnaut.com\/nascar\/nascar-standings\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">NASCAR Standings, including Truck Series<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kaden Honeycutt stats (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.driveraverages.com\/nascar_truckseries\/year.php?yr_id=2025\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Truck Series<\/a>)<\/strong>: 525 points, two top 5s, nine top 10s, 11.6 average starting position, 14.4 average finishing position, 44 laps led in 17 races<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Aug. 4, Niece\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nascar.com\/news-media\/2025\/08\/04\/craftsman-truck-series-2025-niece-motorsports-kaden-honeycutt\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">announced<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0it was parting ways\u00a0with Honeycutt just\u00a0weeks before\u00a0the Truck Series\u00a0playoffs. The\u00a0move was made, per\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bobpockrass\/status\/1952415599243514205?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1952415599243514205%7Ctwgr%5Eda68768fca373052be9da6b6c9685f3a69b5263d%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jayski.com%2F2025%2F08%2F04%2Fniece-motorsports-releases-kaden-honeycutt-update%2F\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Bob Pockrass<\/a>, because\u00a0Honeycutt signed\u00a0a deal to race\u00a0for a new manufacturer\u00a0in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately for Honeycutt, he found a short-term stop to continue his pursuit of a Truck championship. It\u2019s a great opportunity for the 22-year-old, joining a No. 11 team that has the highest average starting position (4.9) and the most poles (seven) in the Truck Series this season.<\/p>\n<p>Where will Corey Heim race in 2026?<\/p>\n<p>Heim\u2019s landing spot in 2026 is unclear.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DailyDownfords\/status\/1954911080138125739\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">The Daily Downloads<\/a>\u00a0claimed on Monday that Spire Motorsports has made a \u201csignificant push\u201d to get Heim for the No. 7 car in the Cup Series next season. The current driver of the No. 7, Justin Haley, is reportedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsnaut.com\/nascar\/nascar-rumors-justin-haley-hot-seat-spire-motorsports\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">on the hot seat<\/a>\u00a0and Heim is the best driver among very limited options this offseason.<\/p>\n<p>While Heim is a development driver for 23XI Racing, a Toyota-backed team, there\u2019s no car available to him right now at the Cup level.
