James Gunn\u2019s Superman<\/a> was pushed out of the top five at the box office<\/a> this past weekend, marking the beginning of the end of its box office run. It\u2019s been a good one, with over $330 million in the U.S. so far and another $250 million worldwide. It\u2019s the highest-grossing Superman film ever, domestically not adjusted for inflation<\/a>, and now the journey takes its next step.<\/p>\n

Gunn took to social media<\/a> Tuesday to announce his DC Universe film will be available on digital August 15. That\u2019s this week. It\u2019s also just about a month after the film hit theaters, which is both incredibly quick but also becoming more and more standard. The film, which is available for pre-order now, will cost $30 wherever you choose to download your movies legally. It will then be available as 4K and Blu-ray September 23.
