{"id":141198,"date":"2025-08-13T02:07:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T02:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/141198\/"},"modified":"2025-08-13T02:07:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T02:07:09","slug":"daryl-hall-john-oates-have-settled-their-legal-dispute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/141198\/","title":{"rendered":"Daryl Hall &#038; John Oates have settled their legal dispute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You may recall that back in 2023, <strong>Daryl Hall<\/strong> and <strong>John Oates<\/strong> \u2014 one of the greatest pop duos of the \u201970s and \u201980s \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brooklynvegan.com\/daryl-hall-took-out-a-restraining-order-against-john-oates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ended their partnership bitterly<\/a>, with Hall taking out a restraining order on Oates. It stemmed from Oates\u2019 sale of his share of their back catalog and IP to publishing company Primary Wave, which Hall called \u201cthe ultimate partnership betrayal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Well, that\u2019s over now. The Associated Press <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/hall-oates-lawsuit-d9415179d7f4d37704708a681bc2669a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a> that the dispute over their Whole Oats Enterprises LLP business partnership has been resolved in the least rock n\u2019 roll way possible: private arbitration.
