It\u2019s still unclear if South Park Season 27, Episode 3 will be on Comedy Central and Paramount+ this week.<\/p>\n
Trey Parker and Matt Stone\u2019s new season featuring Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny kicked off on July 23 with a controversial South Park-style skewering of President Donald Trump, then went on hiatus the following week.<\/p>\n
ForbesJames Gunn\u2019s \u2018Superman\u2019 New On Streaming This Week, Director SaysBy Tim Lammers<\/a><\/p>\n On Aug. 6, the show returned with its comedic crosshairs aimed once again at Trump, as well as Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.<\/p>\n Thanks to the Parker and Stone\u2019s blockbuster deal with Paramount Global worth $1.5 billion to produce 50 new episodes of the series over the next five years, South Park\u2019s new episodes are generally set to air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET\/PT on Comedy Central on cable and stream exclusively on Paramount+ the next day.<\/p>\n As of Tuesday, however, the South Park X account is still being silent about when Season 27, Episode 3 is coming out. Various press outlets have different answers about when the episode will air. Newsweek<\/a> reported that Episode 3 won\u2019t air on Comedy Central until Wednesday, Aug. 20, while Esquire<\/a> said it would air on Wednesday, Aug. 13. On Aug. 5 the South Park account teased Episode 2, titled Got a Nut, along with photos of Noem and Mr. Mackay at an ICE raid and Cartman on his laptop in his bedroom.<\/p>\n At some point \u2014 hopefully on Tuesday night or Wednesday during the day \u2014 Comedy Central and Paramount+ will confirm when Season 27, Episode 3 will air. Given that there\u2019s been no teasers for the new episode released yet, it seems likely that South Park is taking yet another one-week hiatus and return on Aug. 20 on Comedy Central and Aug. 21 on Paramount+.<\/p>\n One more indication that a new episode isn\u2019t coming is that a teaser video on Comedy Central touting \u201cSouth Park Day\u201d on Aug. 13 doesn\u2019t mention a new episode.<\/p>\n ForbesWhat Time Does \u2018Alien: Earth\u2019 Begin Streaming? The teaser video notes that the South Park marathon is leading up to a re-airing of South Park\u2019s first episode.<\/p>\n In additon, Paramount+ has not been forthcoming with its release schedule for South Park Season 27, as an email to the show\u2019s PR team about its release schedule after the premiere episode went unanswered.<\/p>\n \u2018South Park\u2019 Posted The End Credits Scene For \u2018Got A Nut\u2019 On Monday<\/p>\n Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was the prime target of the mockery on the Aug. 6 episode, as Parker and Stone continuously poked fun at Noem by showing her face melting and shooting puppies \u2014 a reference to an admission in her book in 2024 about shooting her \u201cextremely dangerous\u201d family dog<\/a>.<\/p>\n The most recent post<\/a> on the South Park\u2019s X account happened on Monday, when the end credits sequence that wasn\u2019t ready for Comedy Central viewers \u2014 but made the cut on Paramount+ \u2014 was posted. Among the new agents recruited by ICE was South Park Elementary School councilor Mr. Mackay. The face-melting jokes particularly rankled Noem, who called the show\u2019s portrayal of her \u201clazy\u201d and \u201cpetty.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n On the other hand, Vice President JD Vance took his mockery in stride<\/a>, responding to a South Park post on X by saying, \u201cWell, I\u2019ve finally made it.\u201d<\/p>\n
