SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A 5-year-old boy with terminal cancer experienced a dream come true on the city’s Far North Side.<\/p>\n
Keontae McKinnon, who has a rare form of muscle cancer that has spread throughout his body, was given the chance to ride in a Lamborghini, his favorite sports car.<\/p>\n
With just weeks to live, Keontae was picked up by a local anti-bully group led by King Kyle Lee. The group drove to his neighborhood to grant his final wish.<\/p>\n
“Just to see a smile on his face, man, you know, we wanted to do anything that we could possibly do to help grant his final wish and to let him know that we’re in his corner, and let the family know that we’re here with them,” said a member of the group.<\/p>\n
Keontae’s mother expressed her gratitude for the support they have received during this difficult time. “It’s so great. It really helps us through this whole journey to know that we’re not alone in this, and to see how loved he is being so small, he’s touched a lot of people. So that really gives me, like, a peace of mind, knowing the outcome that’s, you know, coming, yeah, and we really like we’re really appreciative of everybody. It helps us get through this together,” she said.<\/p>\n
Keontae has been battling cancer for more than a year. His mother said his older brothers and younger sister struggle to understand why cancer is affecting their brother. Loved ones expressed their gratitude to the anti-bully group for making Keontae feel like a normal kid.<\/p>\n
