Zo\u00eb Kravitz has revealed that she stayed at Taylor Swift\u2019s sprawling Beverly Hills home as the deadly wildfires ravaged through California<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on\u00a0\u201cLate Night With Seth Meyers\u201d<\/a> Tuesday, Kravitz said that the 14-time Grammy winner opened up her lavish $25 million Beverly Hills mansion<\/a> to her and her famous mom, Lisa Bonet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe ended up having to stay there for about two weeks,\u201d the \u201cHigh Fidelity\u201d actress said, adding that they were joined by her mom\u2019s pet snake, Orpheus.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd Taylor has this beautiful house. It\u2019s from the \u201930s, something you want to preserve and take care of.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress said that while she tries to be a \u201cgood houseguest\u201d who leaves \u201cplaces better than I found them,\u201d she did end up accidentally \u201cdestroying\u201d a part of the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d singer\u2019s pricy abode.<\/p>\n

As the mother-daughter duo was cleaning before leaving the home at the end of their stay, the \u201cBatman\u201d actress received a call from her mom, who was also inside the property.<\/p>\n

After looking for her mom for some time, Kravitz found Bonet \u201ccrouched in the corner in this weird way\u201d in the upstairs bathroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018What\u2019s going on dude?\u2019 And she\u2019s like, \u2018So I was washing my face and I had Orpheus and I just put her down for a second. Closed the door and she found this little hole in the corner,’\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Kravitz, 36, explained that the room had a banquette built into the wall next to a small hole in the wall \u2014 in which the snake was trapped. <\/p>\n

The pair began their rescue mission as Bonet grabbed her snake\u2019s tail. However, the pressure of the situation caused them both to go into \u201cpanic\u201d mode, prompting the snake to slither further into the wall.<\/p>\n

Eventually, Kravitz had called Swift\u2019s house manager, who came equipped with a crowbar to \u201ctear apart the banquette.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re ripping up the tile. We\u2019re scratching the walls,\u201d she recalled. \u201cCompletely destroyed Taylor\u2019s bathroom and there was just this moment where I was like, \u2018Either we destroy her bathroom or I have to tell her that there\u2019s a snake somewhere in her house.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer purchased the property for $25 million in 2015. BACKGRID<\/p>\n

\u201cI said to her house manager, \u2018Obviously, I\u2019m gonna pay for everything to be fixed. Please just don\u2019t say anything until it\u2019s fixed.’\u201d<\/p>\n

But when Kravitz had called Swift, her longtime friend of many years, to fess up to the situation, the \u201cFortnight\u201d singer was already in the know.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember calling her saying, \u2018Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something.\u2019\u00a0And she was like, \u2018Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Kravitz quipped that the singer\u2019s next album would be titled \u201cOrpheus\u201d \u2014 a wishful claim that was squashed this week after Swift unveiled the actual title<\/a> for her upcoming 12th album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kravitz has been close pals with the \u201cWildest Dreams\u201d singer for more than a decade, and has grown even closer in recent years.<\/p>\n

The singer famously collaborated with Kravitz on her 2022 album, \u201cMidnights.\u201d X \/ @newheightshow<\/p>\n

The pair were spotted grabbing dinner in NYC together<\/a> on various occasions last year \u2014 not long after Kravitz\u2019s split from ex-fianc\u00e9<\/a> Channing Tatum.<\/p>\n

The actress also attended the singer\u2019s sold-out \u201cEras\u201d tour in London, calling the experience \u201ccrazy\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I\u2019m not surprised, because Taylor is scary talented at everything she does, so it\u2019s not surprising that she\u2019s so good,\u201d she told Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on the \u201cTonight Show.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut what is weirder actually to me, is that after she performs for however many thousands of people that is, you know, she just comes over after, and like, we drink some wine, and like, eat a burger, and like, hang out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kravitz is no stranger to witnessing Swift\u2019s artistry up close.<\/p>\n

The actress famously collaborated with the singer on her 2022 album, \u201cMidnights.\u201d Kravitz co-wrote the songs \u201cKarma\u201d and \u201cLavender Haze\u201d \u2014 and even provided backing vocals.<\/p>\n
