Dallas County sheriff\u2019s office asks for public\u2019s help in Saturday I-20 hit-and-run case<\/a><\/p>\nDeputies responded to a major crash on eastbound Interstate 20 near the Main Street exit in Duncanville at around 1:45 a.m., according to a Wednesday news release. At the scene, they found a person who had been struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway. <\/p>\n
The individual later died, according to the sheriff\u2019s office. <\/p>\n

The news release says Vehicle Crimes Unit detectives are now looking for a person who was driving a white Chevrolet Equinox that fled the scene eastbound on I-20. It also says the vehicle displays a Texas license plate of LGP5505, and likely sustained damages on the front end and possibly on the windshield. <\/p>\n
