{"id":14285,"date":"2025-06-25T19:18:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T19:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/14285\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T19:18:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T19:18:09","slug":"great-eastern-highway-entry-in-midland-shut-after-pedestrian-hit-by-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/14285\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Eastern Highway entry in Midland shut after pedestrian hit by car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Entry to a busy highway in Perth\u2019s east was closed after a person was hit by a car on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The pedestrian was hit by a car around 4.45pm on Wednesday at the Morrison Road entry to Great Eastern Highway in Midland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Police and St John ambulance crews attended the incident and the pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The Morrison Road entry to Great Eastern Highway westbound was shut.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">The left lane on Great Eastern Highway westbound had also been closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-1tqt8t0-StyledParagraph e4e0a020\">Main Roads WA said that traffic was slow on approach.
