Nishesh Basavareddy will make his main-draw debut at the US Open this year.

The US Open<\/a> announced its wild cards on Wednesday, with #NextGenATP star Nishesh Basavareddy<\/a> among six American featuring in the men\u2019s singles list.<\/p>\n Basavareddy, currently No. 109 in the PIF ATP Rankings, competed at the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF<\/a> in last December before making the semi-finals at the ATP 250 in Auckland a month later. The 20-year-old, who rose to World No. 99 in June, will be making his US Open<\/a> main-draw debut this year.<\/p>\n Brandon Holt<\/a>, Tristan Boyer<\/a>, Emilio Nava<\/a>, Stefan Dostanic<\/a> and Darwin Blanch<\/a> are the other Americans to receive a wild card. They will be joined by Australian Tristan Schoolkate<\/a> and Valentin Royer<\/a>.<\/p>\n Holt, the son of former WTA World No. 1 Tracy Austin, also made his Top 100 debut this year after qualifying for the ATP 250 in Mallorca and recording his first ATP Tour match win. Dostancic, 23, earned his wild card by winning the men\u2019s singles title at the inaugural American Collegiate Wild Card Playoffs in June.<\/p>\n Nava, currently at a career-high No. 105 in the PIF ATP Rankings, received his wild card by winning the US Open<\/a> Wild Card Challenge. The 23-year-old also captured three consecutive ATP Challenger Tour titles this spring. The 18-year-old Blanch, who played Rafael Nadal<\/a> in his second tour-level match, will compete at a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.\u00a0<\/p>\n Two-time Challenger Tour winners in 2025, Royer and Schoolkate will also feature in the main draw. Schoolkate reached the second round on his US Open<\/a> debut last year, while Royer will be competing in the main draw for the first time.<\/p>\n Men\u2019s singles qualifying wild cards were awarded to Andres Martin<\/a>, Tyler Zink<\/a>, Patrick Maloney<\/a>, Garrett Johns<\/a>, Martin Damm<\/a>, Jack Kennedy<\/a>, Benjamin Willwerth<\/a>, Michael Zheng<\/a> and Jack Satterfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"US Open Which players received a US Open wild card?
