Stevie Nicks<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Lindsey Buckingham<\/strong> are bringing the band back together\u2014sort of.<\/p>\n The bandmates, who performed as Buckingham Nicks<\/strong>\u00a0before joining Fleetwood Mac<\/strong> in 1974, announced Aug. 13 that they will be releasing a remastered version of their 1973 eponymous album this September.<\/p>\n \u201cLindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks\u2019 elusive 1973 studio album arrives September 19,\u201d a description included in the YouTube video for their single, \u201cDon\u2019t Let Me Down Again,\u201d read<\/a>, \u201cwith newly remastered sound for CD and digital debut.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans began speculating that a project from the two was in the works<\/a> in July after Stevie, 77, and Lindsey, 75, shared coordinated posts on social media featuring lyrics from \u201cFrozen Love,\u201d a song featured on their album.<\/p>\n Minutes after Stevie shared the handwritten lyrics \u201cAnd if you go forward\u201d on her Instagram<\/a>\u00a0page, Lindsey posted<\/a>\u00a0the rest of the line, \u201cI\u2019ll meet you there,\u201d in what appeared to be his own handwriting.<\/p>\n Along with the cryptic posts, fellow band member Mick Fleetwood<\/strong>\u00a0shared his own musings on the song as he reflected on the pair\u2019s one-of-a-kind musical pairing.<\/p>\n \u201cThe marriage of Stevie and Lindsey, the magic of coming into Fleetwood Mac when they did, it\u2019s all in the song,\u201d he said in a video shared on I<\/a>nstagram<\/a>\u00a0at the time. \u201cIt was magic then, magic now.
