Bethenny Frankel believes Meghan Markle and Prince Harry\u2019s business endeavors have been flopping<\/a> because they rushed into too many projects at once.<\/p>\n

The \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d alum didn\u2019t hold back Wednesday as she speculated that the Sussexes\u2019 latest ventures haven\u2019t taken off because they have too many irons in the fire. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn\u2019t want the fame, but they didn\u2019t want to give up the lifestyle, because it\u2019s expensive. Now they\u2019re living in Montecito, and it\u2019s hard for things to land,\u201d Frankel told Us Weekly<\/a> of Markle and Prince Harry as she was hailed the outlet\u2019s Entrepreneur of the Year.<\/p>\n

The \u201cRHONY\u201d alum speculated that Markle\u2019s business ventures haven\u2019t landed because \u201cthey made all these different deals\u201d and \u201cit\u2019s hard to land all of those things.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to land all of those things, and they wanted to do it in a timely manner because they realized there was a certain window of opportunity, so they made all these different deals. And business is really hard,\u201d the Skinnygirl founder, 54, continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cI respect that relationship and that loyalty to each other, and I just don\u2019t think it\u2019s that easy. If it was so easy, everybody would be good at doing it.\u201d <\/p>\n

Reps for Markle and Harry did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Frankel\u2019s comments come soon after Markle and the Duke of Sussex, 40, were dealt a humiliating hand from Netflix on Monday as the couple extended their partnership with the streamer.<\/p>\n

Last month, Markle was expected to transition from an exclusive deal to a first look<\/a> with Netflix after the former agreement expired this year.<\/p>\n

However, we\u2019ve been told there\u2019s not much fan fare surrounding the new agreement and Netflix\u2019s new offer is being valued at much less than their previous \u201c$100 million deal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not much,\u201d an insider told Page Six on Monday. \u201cIt\u2019s no risk for Netflix but saves them both reputationally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markle, 44, remains in business with the streamer through her lifestyle brand, As Ever \u2014 which has also seen its fair share of snafus since its conception last April. <\/p>\n

Originally called American Riviera Orchard, the \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d star changed the name of the brand<\/a> before its April 2025 launch. <\/p>\n

The As Ever founder extended her partnership with the streamer, but a source told us the new deal is worth much less than her previous $100 million agreement. FilmMagic<\/p>\n

While it was believed that the title change was due to her experiencing trademark issues<\/a>, Markle claimed she made the switch because the first name sounded like \u201cword salad.\u201d<\/p>\n

As some may recall, the actress filed trademark applications for her brand\u2019s original name in 2023, but her applications were rejected. <\/p>\n
