The comedian turned to a clip of Trump who, in a rambling press conference where he announced the center\u2019s 2025 honorees<\/a>, claimed he initially questioned the \u201cfools\u201d who asked him to be the host before eventually agreeing to the job.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut no, you guys, I\u2019m glad he\u2019s hosting this!\u201d said Byer after the audience booed the video of the president.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, let him host the Emmys, the Grammys, a podcast with Theo Von<\/a>! He can be the host at an Applebee\u2019s, anything that distracts him from running this country into the ground!\u201d<\/p>\n

Byer explained that she didn\u2019t want to \u201crush to judgement\u201d and suggested that Trump, who was elected the center\u2019s chairman<\/a> in February after firing its board of trustees and replacing them with his loyalists, could \u201ccrush it\u201d in the gig.<\/p>\n

She then tossed to a mock ad for the ceremony celebrating \u201cnon-woke\u201d honorees like the \u201clate, great Hannibal Lecter<\/a>\u201d and Diddy alongside special appearances from the likes of Skeletor<\/a> and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly on CBS, because I made them my bitch<\/a>!\u201d said a voice mimicking Trump in the clip.<\/p>\n
