The start of the new season brings with it a host of content speculating on how teams will do, and Wolves haven\u2019t been showered with praise as pundits look at the season ahead. <\/strong><\/p>\n

First, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer picked Wolves<\/a> to go down. Then, Ally McCoist gave his Premier League predictions<\/a> with the same outcome. <\/p>\n

And now Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane have given their predictions for how the first game of the season against Man City will go. <\/p>\n

Appearing on the Overlap YouTube channel, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher were participating in the Super 6 challenge, trying to correctly predict all the scorelines from the weekend\u2019s action. <\/p>\n

The two were in agreement on the outcome of the game, picking City to get an away win at Molineux, but while Carragher backed Wolves<\/a> to get on the scoresheet in a 2-1 loss, Keane was less optimistic, calling a 2-0 result. <\/p>\n

Neither side spent too long deliberating their answers for Wolves\u2019 opener, again highlighting the feeling about Wolves, that they may be in trouble this season. <\/p>\n

But Vitor Pereira won\u2019t dwell on the opinions of those in the media and will believe a positive result is possible. <\/p>\n

How Wolves can get a result against Man City on Saturday<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just the Overlap guys who don\u2019t back Wolves this weekend. It\u2019s many of the fans too. <\/p>\n

The feelings of dissatisfaction with the squad and more importantly, a lack of investment in the squad, have led Wolves fans down a pessimistic path<\/a>. <\/p>\n

But a result is possible. The primary thing for Pereira to focus on is the unenviable task of stopping Erling Haaland, who has never failed to score on opening day<\/a>. A tough proposition, but one that could seriously boost Wolves\u2019 chances. <\/p>\n

Another area to exploit could be for Jhon Arias, who goes up against ex-Wolves star Matheus Nunes<\/a>, now playing at right-back for Pep. Arias bagged a goal on his pre-season debut<\/a>, and the Colombian will be looking to do the same on Saturday. <\/p>\n
