On Thursday, August 14, Jacksonville Police Department detectives, alongside the support from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina, were able to apprehend a 14-year-old juvenile for charges related to the shooting at the Jacksonville Mall on August 2. Information about the juvenile is being withheld due to his age. <\/p>\n
On August 2, the Jacksonville Police responded to the area of the Jacksonville Mall for a shots-fired call, and when they arrived on scene, according to officials, and located two juvenile victims who had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n
The juvenile has to undergo an extradition process before they are transferred to North Carolina. <\/p>\n
