This is their first coffee shop; Monica also runs a bookkeeping business in addition to the shop. Her daughters usually hold down the fort at Pit Coffee.

The theme is pit bulls because they are true dog lovers who own two pit bull dogs: Karma and Woo. They wanted to offer a dog-friendly coffee spot for other dog lovers. Adding to their dog-friendly mission, they have doggy ice cream topped with a bone-shaped dog treat in a cup for $3 — and as a sign of their thoughtfulness towards pets, the dog ice cream does not have sugar, which is not particularly good for dogs.

Their menu includes hot coffee, iced coffee, blended coffee, lemonades, and energy drinks. There’s also chai, green tea, matcha (which they whisk authentically), and hot chocolate.

They offer creative limited-edition drinks such as their current Meet our Dreamer Latte, featuring salted caramel, white chocolate, and vanilla.

They also do some of the colorful drinks that are trendy right now, such as strawberry dragonfruit lemonade with cream or vanilla latte with strawberry and soft top. One plus: They have sugar free syrup options for all their drinks.

Prices are low, ranging from $3 for a cup of hot chocolate to $6 for a blended coffee.

They’re open for walk-ins, and they also have a drive-thru for those in a hurry to get their energy up. They’re currently open Monday through Friday from 7 am-5 pm, and Saturday from 8 am-1 pm.

They’re customer-friendly with a personal touch and a genuine enthusiasm for what they’re doing, as well as generous towards their neighbor, La Paisanita Taqueria Deli, the taco shop next to them, whose tacos they tout as “amazing.”

“Come see what the bark is all about — we’ve got something for every member of the pack,” Monica says.

A coffee shop with an unusual theme is now brewing inside a south Fort Worth gas station: Called…

[5138
5229,26874,27144,7371,7372,10084,358,3187,67,586,132,5230,68,2969
0":"post-145722","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-fort-worth","8":"tag-america","9":"tag-barbecue","10":"tag-chefs","11":"tag-fort-worth","12":"tag-fortworth","13":"tag-openings","14":"tag-texas","15":"tag-tx","16":"tag-united-states","17":"tag-united-states-of-america","18":"tag-unitedstates","19":"tag-unitedstatesofamerica","20":"tag-us","21":"tag-usa
["GET
