PHOENIX \u2014 The eastbound Loop 101 ramps to Interstate 17 will be closed until the Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the 101 ramps to I-17 will be closed from Aug. 15 until the morning of Aug. 29 to allow for pavement work.<\/p>\n
To get around the closure, drivers can exit the Loop 101 at 35th Avenue and use Deer Valley Road or Union Hills Drive to access I-17. ADOT said drivers in the northwest Valley should consider using the Loop 303 to access I-17.<\/p>\n
The pavement work is part of an ongoing Loop 101 widening project between I-17 and 75th Avenue.<\/p>\n
