{"id":146427,"date":"2025-08-15T00:29:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-15T00:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/146427\/"},"modified":"2025-08-15T00:29:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T00:29:11","slug":"pebble-time-2-unveiled-with-30-day-battery-and-e-ink-display","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/146427\/","title":{"rendered":"Pebble Time 2 Unveiled With 30-Day Battery and E-Ink Display"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pebble smartwatches are making a return this year, and creator Eric Migicovsky this week showed off the finalized design for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ericmigi.com\/blog\/pebble-time-2-design-reveal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">upcoming Pebble Time 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/pebble-time-redesign.jpg\"   alt=\"pebble time redesign\" width=\"2080\" height=\"1168\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1014523\"\/><br \/>Migicovsky previewed early designs for the revamped smartwatch <a href=\"https:\/\/ericmigi.com\/blog\/introducing-two-new-pebbleos-watches\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">back in March<\/a> when he announced the return of PebbleOS, but the final version has a more refined look. The device features a 1.5-inch rectangular watch face with a set of three buttons on the right side and a single button on the left side.<\/p>\n<p>The watch will be made of 316 stainless steel, with black and silver design options and four colorways. The Pebble Time 2 will have a 64 color e-ink touch screen rather than an OLED display like the Apple Watch, which will allow for an estimated battery life of 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Other features include a multicolor LED backlight, a compass sensor, dual microphones, heart rate monitoring, step tracking, sleep tracking, a speaker, and waterproofing. The watch is <a href=\"https:\/\/store.repebble.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">priced at $225<\/a>, and it&#8217;s expected in December.<\/p>\n<p>Pebble went bankrupt in 2016 and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2016\/12\/07\/fitbit-pebble-time-core-smartwatches-canceled\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sold to Fitbit<\/a>, which led to the cancelation of planned Time 2 and Core 2 wearables. Migicovsky is now aiming to bring those devices back.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"pebble time 2\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1313\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1014524 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/pebble-time-2.jpg\"  data- loading=\"lazy\"\/><br \/>Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2025\/03\/18\/pebble-smartwatch-apple-restrictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Migicovsky complained<\/a> that Apple&#8217;s restrictions on third-party smartwatches will limit how the Pebble works with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/iphone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iPhone<\/a>.
