Headlining the event is Das Its Lustig.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, bring the kids to enjoy the Kinderzone and join in the Kindermarsch.<\/p>\n<p>When: Friday, August 15 from 5 p.m. &#8211; 11 p.m.<br \/>Where: Beethoven Maennerchor (422 Pereida Street)<br \/>Cost: Free<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nImmersive outdoor concert                    <\/p>\n<p>Bring the family out to Confluence Park on Saturday for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/immersive-concert-sound-installation-at-confluence-park-tickets-1554896700889?aff=oddtdtcreator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">free one-night-only outdoor concert<\/a> featuring original works by emerging composers from across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The event, hosted by the San Antonio River Foundation, blends music, ecology and celebrates the heritage of the SA River.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thirteen visiting composers will present new short pieces inspired by site visits, poetic prompts and environmental soundscapes.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s special guests include Part Music from Germany and local Pamela Martinez, who is known for creative immersive site-specific work inspired by native plants and historical spaces.<\/p>\n<p>When: Saturday, August 16 from 8:30 p.m. &#8211; 10 p.m.<br \/>Where: Confluence Park (310 W Mitchell Street)<br \/>Cost: Free<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nGlow dance party                    <\/p>\n<p>Happening Saturday, dress in your brightest neon and dance the night away at Hemisfair Park.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/hemisfair.org\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Super Fun Saturday: Glow Dance Party<\/a> features live music, dancing, interactive activity stations and plenty of glowing fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Light up the night and celebrate the conclusion of summer with the whole family.<\/p>\n<p>When: Saturday, August 16 from 8 p.m. &#8211; 10 p.m.<br \/>Where: Hemisfair (630 E Nueva Street)<br \/>Cost: Free<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nBack-to-school farmers market                    <\/p>\n<p>Join Gardopia Gardens on Saturday for a morning of fresh food, fun and community vibes before getting the kids ready to head back to the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idreamsa.com\/Events\/Event-Detail\/ArtMID\/27181\/ArticleID\/28874\/Gardopia-Gardens-Back-to-School-Farmers-Market\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Back to School Farmers Market<\/a> will have free produce for families, a chef demonstration, music and a free school supply giveaway while supplies last.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When: Saturday, August 16 from 9 a.m. &#8211; 12 p.m.<br \/>Where: Gardopia Gardens (619 North New Braunfels Avenue)<br \/>Cost: Free<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nPlus&#8230;                    <\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to get your tickets to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tobincenter.org\/togetherfortexas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Together for Texas: Benefit Concert for Hill Country Flood Relief<\/a>, happening Monday at the Tobin Center.
