Manchester United fans could find the Red Devils blow all expectations out of the water in the 2025-26 Premier League season at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Red Devils supporters endured a tough 2024-25 Premier League campaign after a complete collapse from the start for Manchester United<\/a> under Erik ten Hag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Erik ten Hag\u2019s reign at United ended<\/a> last October with the former Ajax manager\u2019s dismissal and Ruben Amorim<\/a> was left to pick up the broken pieces at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amorim rolled out his tactical system at United<\/a> and the Red Devils had to adapt to a three-man backline amid their poor run of Premier League form last season.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old United manager<\/a>, who arrived from Sporting CP last November, was unable to see a major bounce back from the Red Devils under his early reign.<\/p>\n

United ultimately suffered their worst Premier League standing since England\u2019s top-flight competition was formed in 1992, with the Red Devils finishing in 15th place.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim has been able to oversee his first summer pre-season tour at the Premier League club after Manchester United\u2019s woeful 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

The former Sporting CP head coach has been able to work closely with players and talent from both the United first team<\/a> and the United youth academy<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Amorim has received the major backing of Ineos<\/a> and Sir Jim Ratcliffe<\/a> with the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>, Matheus Cunha<\/a>, Diego Leon<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Football Insider<\/a>, Matt Le Tissier dropped his two cents on United\u2019s prospects for the 2025-26 Premier League season under Red Devils boss Amorim.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old Premier League cult hero admitted that he could see the Red Devils climb 10 spots from last season and finish in fifth place in the forthcoming campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cFifth place is probably going to surprise a lot of people because I\u2019ve gone for Man United,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Matt Le Tissier insisted that the absence of European football for United in the 2025-26 campaign could hand Amorim a major boost over the course of the campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like without the European football, Amorim has got a real chance of working with these players and implementing this system,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Le Tissier added: \u201cAnd I think that could be a massive help to them this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Red Devils\u2019 woeful Premier League form last season left United outside of the European qualification spots, but the club were later dealt another key blow.<\/p>\n

Amorim\u2019s men could have secured Champions League football for the 2025-26 season if United had beaten Tottenham in the Europa League<\/a> final in Bilbao in May.<\/p>\n
