{"id":147770,"date":"2025-08-15T12:16:21","date_gmt":"2025-08-15T12:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/147770\/"},"modified":"2025-08-15T12:16:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T12:16:21","slug":"lazer-logistics-expands-presence-in-dfw-chicago-with-13th-acquisition-dallas-innovates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/147770\/","title":{"rendered":"Lazer Logistics Expands Presence in DFW, Chicago With 13th Acquisition \u00bb Dallas Innovates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Atlanta-based Lazer Logistics has acquired three established logistics providers\u2014NetCorp Trailers Inc., EJR Logistics Inc., and Stein &amp; Sons Cartage Contractors Inc.\u2014in a move that expands its operations in Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The deal marks the company\u2019s 13th acquisition and adds to its capabilities in trailer leasing, yard spotting, and short-haul shuttling.<\/p>\n<p>Lazer, a leading provider of yard management and logistics solutions, said it will \u201cassume all operations that have reliably served more than 20 customers since 2004.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Lazer Logistics CEO Adam Newsome called Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago \u201ctwo of the most dynamic logistics markets in the country.\u201d He said the acquisition will give Lazer a stronger presence in both regions and bring the operations of NetCorp, EJR, and Stein &amp; Sons into its existing network.<\/p>\n<p>The deal brings Lazer\u2019s total fleet to more than 11,000 units, adding to its North American logistics solutions, the company said. No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1365\">Peter Stein, co-founder and CEO of the three acquired companies, will join Lazer as vice president. \u201cWe\u2019ve built our reputation on dependable service, safe drivers, and trusted relationships,\u201d Stein said in a statement. \u201cJoining Lazer allows us to grow that legacy with expanded resources and opportunities for both our customers and employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1996, Lazer operates in more than 700 locations across the U.S. and Canada, with over 5,800 employees<\/p>\n<p>The company is ranked on the Transport Topics 2025 Top 100 Logistics Companies list and says it operates more than 9 million service hours annually for blue-chip customers across North America.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss what\u2019s next.
