is through to his first ATP Masters 1000 semifinal. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The world number 136 clinched his second top ten win of the tournament after defeating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/holger-rune\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Holger Rune<\/a> in straight sets. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/terence-atmane-admits-he-made-a-mistake-the-last-time-he-played-taylor-fritz-which-he-tried-to-correct-in-cincinnati\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atmane previously knocked out Taylor Fritz<\/a>, and in the final four, he will now face his biggest challenge yet in the form of world number one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jannik Sinner<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Having made the main draw through qualifying, the Frenchman continues to catch the eyes of many, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/andre-agassi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andre Agassi<\/a>\u2018s former coach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Brad-Gilbert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brad Gilbert<\/a>, who compared him to a former major champion.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" X to say: \u201cI said Atmane reminds [me] of Wayne Arthers, [the] more I think about it, [he reminds me of] Henri Leconte.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSame quick motion on the serve and [he is a ] shot maker like href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Mats-Wilander\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mats Wilander<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In 1984, he clinched a maiden Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, when he emerged victorious in doubles alongside French compatriot Yannick Noah. <\/p>\n<p>Terence Atmane\u2019s incredible run at the Cincinnati Open so far<\/p>\n<p>After earning his way to the main draw through qualifying, Atmane began his campaign in Cincinnati with a comfortable win over Yoshihito Nishioka. <\/p>\n<p>In the second round, he overcame Wimbledon quarterfinalist Flavio Cobolli before securing another big victory over rising star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Joao-Fonseca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joao Fonseca<\/a> in round three. year. <\/p>\n<p>Following another upset over Rune, he will now look to continue his impressive run at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/atp\/\" target=\"_blank\"
