Tedeschi Trucks Band pulled into Los Angeles\u2019 Greek Theatre on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, sharing a bill with Whiskey Meyers. During the 12-piece ensemble\u2019s single set offering, husband and wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi welcomed guest guitarist Doyle Bramhall II out to assist on the final numbers, covers of Elmore James & His Broom Dusters\u2019 \u201cThe Sky Is Coming\u201d and The Beatles\u2019 \u201cWith a Little Help From My Friends.\u201d On location was photographer Steveo Rood, who shared his shots with Relix.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Before welcoming the night\u2019s special guest, TTB revived a new number, \u201cCrazy Cryin\u2019,\u201d which debuted in May, during the first stop of their ongoing tour. They followed with select originals,\u00a0Made Up Mind\u2019s \u201cDo I Look Worried,\u201d and another 2025 addition to the songbook, \u201cWho Am I,\u201d which led into the concert\u2019s initial cover, Prince\u2019s \u201cD.M.S.R.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Another round of originals preluded a pair of Derek and the Dominos covers, \u201cBell Bottom Blues\u201d and \u201cWhy Does Love Got to Be So Sad?\u201d The covers came three days after the passing of Bobby Whitlock, and were known nods to the late musician, given his co-writer status on both cuts. \u201cDevil Be Gone\u201d and \u201cMidnight in Harlem\u201d broke the run of homages.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Next, a known Clapton collaborator, Bramhall, arrived on stage and helped lift the night\u2019s cover of \u201cThe Sky is Crying\u201d and \u201cWith a Little Help From My Friends.\u201d TTB concluded their appearance without an encore following the venue\u2019s curfew. After their concert in LA, the band will perform tonight, August 15, at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Amphitheatre in Stateline, Nev.\u00a0<\/p>\n
