{"id":14903,"date":"2025-06-26T00:40:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T00:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/14903\/"},"modified":"2025-06-26T00:40:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T00:40:08","slug":"adam-pacman-jones-threw-elbow-at-cop-during-arrest-bodycam-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/14903\/","title":{"rendered":"Adam &#8216;Pacman&#8217; Jones threw elbow at cop during arrest: bodycam video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adam \u201cPacman\u201d Jones\u2019 arrest video has been released.<\/p>\n<p>When the former NFL star was arrested while allegedly publicly intoxicated on June 7, he went on a verbal tirade against the cops before eventually throwing his elbows at one officer, which can be seen on police camera footage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/06\/25\/pacman-jones-arrest-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obtained by TMZ Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jones was initially stopped by the cops in Covington, Kentucky, to question him regarding an incident at a nearby bar. However, he quickly became combative.<\/p>\n<p>In the footage, Jones can be seen speaking loudly and even attempting to walk away from the cops before eventually calming down to explain his situation to the officers.<\/p>\n<p>Adam \u201cPacman\u201d Jones was arrested in Northern Kentucky on multiple charges, including assaulting an officer, and placed into custody. Kenton County Jail<\/p>\n<p>The 2005 No. 6 overall draft pick by the Titans went on to explain that he and his group of seemingly friends got into an argument with an employee of the bar in question.<\/p>\n<p>However, after his explanation, he attempted to walk away once again and that\u2019s what led to his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>While in custody, Jones continued to not go down without a fight, cursing at the officers and insisting he wasn\u2019t at fault, the video shows. He also continued to question the officers why they were talking to him specifically.<\/p>\n<p>He was told it was due to an investigation, but Jones remained uncooperative with the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Jones continued to yell at the officers while he was in the police car, screaming \u201cshut the f-k up\u201d and \u201csuck my d\u2013k\u201d while also calling the cop \u201cstupid\u201d and a \u201ccoward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tensions also did not deescalate once in jail. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assaulting a police officer he was booked at Kenton County Jail at 1:51 a.m. He pleaded not guilty in court on June 11.<\/p>\n<p>Jones nor any representative of his has issued a public statement regarding the police footage.<\/p>\n<p>However, following the arrest, Jones\u2019 agent, Peter Schaffer,<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/06\/09\/sports\/adam-pacman-jones-latest-arrest-is-example-of-overzealous-policing-agent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> said his client did \u201cnothing wrong\u201d<\/a> and simply  exercised \u201chis right to ask why he was being detained.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He also called out the officers for \u201canother example of overzealous policing\u201d and \u201cprioritizing their discretion over constitutional rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cincinnati Bengals\u2019 Adam Jones runs the ball against the Houston Texans during an NFL wild card playoff football game in Houston. AP<\/p>\n<p>Jones, who was a one-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler during his 12-year NFL career, had several run-ins with the law during his time as a professional athlete, including when he was suspended for the entire 2007 season and part of 2008 by commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league\u2019s conduct policy.<\/p>\n<p>This incident comes after his<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/16\/sports\/pacman-jones-arrested-after-jake-paul-mike-tyson-fight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> arrest after the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson bout<\/a> that took place in Arlington, Texas in November. There, Jones was charged with alleged public intoxication, resisting arrest and assault of a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Jones was also arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening\u00a0while <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/09\/15\/pacman-jones-went-on-tirade-after-airport-arrest-stupid-as-f-k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at Cincinnati\/Northern Kentucky International Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Adam \u201cPacman\u201d Jones\u2019 arrest video has been released.
