Leite opens the show by describing the atmosphere in Vancouver, where the Seattle Storm<\/a> played the Atlanta Dream<\/a> in the league\u2019s first ever Canada game. \u201cIt was great to be there in person,\u201d Leite says. \u201cAs much as I love covering the league from Canada, \u2026 at the same time, just being there and like, feeling the excitement, it gives you goosebumps, and it\u2019s so fun.\u201d <\/p>\n

Later on, Leite gives a run-down of some updates coming out of the WNBA. \u201cIndiana<\/a> has been struggling,\u201d Leite says, \u201cbut they did sign Odyssey Sims<\/a>, who is fantastic, and I hope that she is able to help with the void that they have in the back court.\u201d Leite also predicts in the show that the Golden State Valkyries<\/a> would beat the Chicago Sky<\/a> on Friday night, and she got that one right \u2014 the Valkyries defeated the Sky 90-59.<\/p>\n
