Tracee Ellis Ross once called out Former President Barack Obama for being a bad friend because he didn\u2019t stop her from making a dating mistake.<\/p>\n

\u201cI broke up with someone, and I remember running into the former president and he was like, \u2018I could have told you that,’\u201d Ross shared during her Thursday appearance on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Well, you failed as a friend!\u2019\u201d she joked. <\/p>\n

Ross added with a laugh, \u201cLike, it was your job to say that before, you know what I mean? Like, nip it in the bud.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, the \u201cGirlfriends\u201d star also shared that she sometimes relies on her friends to set her up with dating partners. But, she hasn\u2019t yet gone Barack and his wife, Michelle Obama, for a potential pairing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never asked Michelle to set me up which I think perhaps is dumb and I need to get on that,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n

She may not have called in her big dating favor yet, but the \u201cBlack-ish\u201d star admitted she does ask for dating advice from the Obamas. <\/p>\n

In April, the 52-year-old actress appeared on Michelle\u2019s \u201cIMO\u201d\u00a0podcast<\/a> \u2014 which she co-hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson \u2014 where she revealed that she prefers dating younger men.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of men my age are steeped in a toxic masculinity and have been raised in a culture where there is a particular way that a relationship looks,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnything that starts to smell of that for me \u2014 I did enough of it where I was controlled and felt like I was a possession or a prize \u2014 I just have no interest in it. And I will not do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, Ross shared that she\u2019s started to gravitate toward the \u201copenness\u201d she finds with dating younger men.<\/p>\n
