After a long wait and a lot of speculations, FC Barcelona have finally succeeded in registering their new signing, Joan Garcia, in La Liga.<\/p>\n

The process was completed in the early hours of Saturday morning, with Garcia\u2019s name now reflecting on the La Liga official transfers page for the 2025\/26 season on their website.<\/p>\n

Bar\u00e7a signed Garcia from RCD Espanyol earlier this summer, shelling out his \u20ac25 million release clause amount, adjusted for inflation, beating several other teams to his capture.<\/p>\n

But given the club\u2019s Financial Fair Play woes, Garcia\u2019s registration was always going to be a complicated issue, and it took the Blaugrana a while to resolve the matter.<\/p>\n

The long-term injury to their captain, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, came as a boon as Barcelona were able to use his salary space to now register Garcia.<\/p>\n

The Blaugrana sent all the necessary documentation on Friday, and the procedure is now complete, with the 24-year-old poised to make his official debut for the club tonight against RCD Mallorca.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, however, the official Barcelona roster page on the La Liga official website shows Garcia without a shirt number at this moment, while strangely, Inaki Pena is depicted with the No. 1.<\/p>\n
