Authorities sought the public\u2019s assistance Friday in locating an at-risk 11-year-old boy and an at-risk 8-year-old girl last seen in South Los Angeles, prompting the issuance of an Endangered Missing Advisory.<\/p>\n
Juaquin Jr. and Aastha Vides were both last seen on July 29 at approximately 6 p.m. with 34-year-old Juaquin Vides, who authorities determined was a person of interest, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department.<\/p>\n
Jauquin Vides Jr. was described as a 3-foot-8-inch-tall boy weighing 49 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with yellow stripes.<\/p>\n
Aastha was described as a 3-foot-6-inch-tall girl weighing 35 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green T-shirt with white flowers. Detectives described Vides as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall man with brown hair and eyes.<\/p>\n
It was unclear what he was last seen wearing, and he is believed to be traveling in a green 2012 Mazda with California license plate 9DRV087.<\/p>\n
The relationship between the three individuals, if any, was not disclosed.<\/p>\n
