The Toxic Avenger<\/strong><\/a> hasn\u2019t even hit theaters yet, and it\u2019s already turning stomachs and sparking curiosity thanks to a leaked image that\u2019s as bizarre as it is gross. <\/p>\n

This superhero horror comedy is clearly not pulling any punches, and now we definitely understand why the film\u2019s Unrated rating comes with a warning for “piss play.”<\/p>\n

An image recently surfaced online (via Reddit<\/a>) that\u2019s had the internet doing a double take. The still shows Toxie, lying on his back, legs up, pants down, and unleashing a stream of radioactive urine\u2026 directly into his own face. We\u2019re not entirely sure what strategic value that holds, but turns out there is a reason for this unholy act.<\/p>\n

According to Bloody Disgusting<\/a>: \u201cToxie finds himself in a unique situation where the only way to escape is to weaponize his radioactive urine and, well, piss himself out of the troubling mess. <\/p>\n

\u201cToxie unzips and fully reveals his Monster Dong in the Unrated version of the movie, and since the moment has started leaking across Reddit and other platforms, we thought we\u2019d spill the beans and just come right out and say it.\u201d<\/p>\n

And there it is. A literal piss-powered escape.<\/p>\n

The NSFW moment makes a lot more sense now in light of the MPAA\u2019s earlier description of the film\u2019s Unrated cut, which was slapped with a Not Rated (NR) label for “Ultra violent\/toxic content, piss play, mutant nudity, and gnarly theater fun.” <\/p>\n

While the R-rated version of The Toxic Avenger was screened at San Diego Comic-Con this year, this unrated version hasn\u2019t been unleashed publicly, yet.<\/p>\n

Bloody-Disgusting and Cineverse have announced that the unrated version of the film will be shown in select theaters across the U.S. starting August 29. Some mainstream cinemas are still unsure about screening it, but this could be another Terrifier 3 moment where indie horror pushes the limits and wins big with genre fans.<\/p>\n

Directed by Macon Blair<\/strong>, The Toxic Avenger is a reimagining of the cult 1984 film and stars Peter Dinklage<\/strong> as the mop-wielding mutant. He\u2019s joined by Elijah Wood<\/strong>, Jacob Tremblay<\/strong>, and Kevin Bacon<\/strong>, rounding out a killer cast for this twisted superhero ride. <\/p>\n

The story follows a janitor who, after a freak chemical accident, becomes a grotesque mutant and uses his new powers to fight crime and bring down a corrupt CEO.<\/p>\n

Brace yourself.
