{"id":150884,"date":"2025-08-16T16:06:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-16T16:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/150884\/"},"modified":"2025-08-16T16:06:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T16:06:14","slug":"free-land-to-those-who-generate-higher-employment-how-nitish-kumar-hopes-to-create-1-crore-jobs-in-bihar-india-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/150884\/","title":{"rendered":"Free land to those who generate higher employment: How Nitish Kumar hopes to create 1 crore jobs in Bihar | India News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Free land for industries generating more employment, enhanced subsidies, and smoother dispute resolution involving disputed industrial land \u2013 these are among the incentives that Bihar Chief Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/about\/nitish-kumar\/\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nitish Kumar<\/a> has announced ahead of assembly polls.<\/p>\n<p>The incentives, announced as part of a special economic package, are aimed at attracting private investment in the state in a bid to fulfil the government\u2019s commitment of generating one crore new jobs in the state over the next five years.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"lazyloading\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"lazyloading-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/track_1x1.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/track_1x1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1px\" height=\"1px\" style=\"display:none;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In a post on X, Nitish said his government has fulfilled the target of providing government jobs and employment to 50 lakh youth as part of their commitment made under Saat Nischay-2 in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, the government has set a new target of providing jobs and employment to one crore youth in the next five years,\u201d <a rel=\"noamphtml nofollow noopener\" class=\"keywordtourl\" href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/about\/nitish-kumar\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nitish Kumar<\/a> said, adding that the government is encouraging those setting up industries and engaging in self-employment in the state by offering various facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The CM further stated: \u201cNow, a special economic package will be given to entrepreneurs for setting up industries in Bihar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among the measures are \u201ccapital subsidy, interest subsidy, and GST-related incentives will be doubled\u201d for eligible enterprises. The government will also arrange for land in all districts to set up industries. \u201cEnterprises that generate higher employment will be provided land free of cost,\u201d the post said.<\/p>\n<p>The benefits that will be extended to entrepreneurs setting up industries within the next six months include the resolution of disputes related to allotted industrial land. According to Kumar, the initiative aims to \u201cfurther promote industries in Bihar, while making the youth of the state skilled and self-reliant\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes when employment has been a key electoral issue in the state, with Opposition leaders blaming the migration in the state on insufficient job opportunities and lack of industrial growth.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement is in line with last month\u2019s Cabinet decision to generate one crore jobs by 2030 across both public and private sectors.
