(KOLO) &#8211; The wildly popular Reno-based <a href=\"https:\/\/perennbakery.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/perennbakery.com\/\">Perenn<\/a> chain opened a new caf\u00e9 on the main floor of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nevadaart.org\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nevadaart.org\/\">Nevada Museum of Art<\/a> on Friday, Aug. 15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Perenn to the museum family,\u201d said David Walker, CEO of the Nevada Museum of Art. \u201cIn this exciting time of expansion, Perenn is the perfect community partner to provide an elevated, yet welcoming experience for our visitors and museum membership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tyler and Aubrey O\u2019Laskey, a husband and wife team, bring Perenn\u2019s signature focus on sustainability, seasonality and simple cooking to one of Reno\u2019s most celebrated cultural destinations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In 2018, the Culinary Institute of America graduates opened the original Perenn caf\u00e9 in Reno\u2019s Midtown district and then expanded to Perenn Rancharrah, Perenn Grocery, and Claio Rotisserie. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In 2025, Perenn opened locations in Franklin and Nashville, Tenn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe\u2019re very honored to be opening Perenn at the Nevada Museum of Art this summer,\u201d the O\u2019Laskeys said in a news release. \u201cThe NMA\u2019s heartfelt commitment to art, culture and community deeply resonates with us. We\u2019re truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">It will offer some of Perenn\u2019s most beloved items, including hand-laminated croissants, fresh pastries and house-made bread, most of which are naturally leavened using traditional European techniques that promote better digestion. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There will be organic coffee, specialty lattes, and loose-leaf teas. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Menu highlights include soft scrambled eggs in a croissant with Boursin cheese, BLT on griddled country sourdough with citrus aioli, and kale salad with tahini-lemon vinaigrette.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The caf\u00e9 was designed in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/antonanger\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/antonanger\/\">Anton Anger<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/studiomeadow.co\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/studiomeadow.co\/\">Studio Meadow<\/a>. It strikes a balance between artful design and everyday comfort. The space is designed to feel like an extension of the art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In addition to tables inside the caf\u00e9, there will be additional seating in the atrium and on the museum\u2019s patio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The caf\u00e9 will also showcase rotating art offering visitors another way to engage with Reno\u2019s vibrant art scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 KOLO.
