(WLS) &#8212; The father of two children allegedly paid a kidnapping suspect to bring his two children to Mexico from Chicago&#8217;s west suburbs, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Aurora police said officers responded to a report of a possible kidnapping at a home in the 500-block of Rosewood Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/watch\/live\/11064984\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24\/7. Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Officers learned that a Texas woman, later identified as 47-year-old Cindy Sanchez, had gone to the home and said she needed to take two children, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old who were staying with family in Aurora, out of the state for their mother.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Sanchez left with the two children, but their mother never told anyone to take them, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The Chicago Police Department later found Sanchez and the children at Midway Airport. Aurora officers responded to the airport and helped return the children to their family members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Sanchez, a Fort Worth woman who is related to the children&#8217;s father, was taken into custody. Police said the children&#8217;s father, who does not have custody of them, paid Sanchez to bring the kids to Mexico through the Texas border.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Sanchez has been charged with two counts of Kidnapping, two counts of Child Abduction and two counts of Unlawful Restraint.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Sanchez will remain at Kane County Jail ahead of her pre-trial hearing.<br class=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 WLS-TV.
