{"id":151968,"date":"2025-08-17T01:58:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-17T01:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/151968\/"},"modified":"2025-08-17T01:58:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T01:58:08","slug":"called-up-to-the-twins-from-class-aaa-former-dodgers-player-james-outman-is-ready-for-a-fresh-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/151968\/","title":{"rendered":"Called up to the Twins from Class AAA, former Dodgers player James Outman is ready for a fresh start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"rt-Text\">Outman is also known as a strong defender, as the Twins witnessed firsthand last month in Los Angeles, when Outman stole a Carlos Correa home run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">\u201cHe\u2019s got speed, he\u2019s got strength,\u201d Baldelli said. \u201cThere\u2019s real upside\u201d to his defense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">Outman will get playing time at all three outfield positions at some point, Baldelli said, in a five-player rotation with <b>Byron Buxton<\/b>, <b>Matt Wallner<\/b>, <b>Austin Martin<\/b> and <b>Trevor Larnach<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">\u201cIt\u2019ll be a nice, easy rotation,\u201d Baldelli said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">One that Outman welcomes, especially after being limited mostly to a defensive replacement role in his final three weeks with the Dodgers.
