However, the C\u2019s overlooked that part when they hired Mazzulla as their head coach before the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n<p>Many believed that the Celtics made a rushed decision due to the complicated circumstances of former head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/tag\/ime-udoka\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ime Udoka\u2019s<\/a> departure.<\/p>\n<p>However, Mazzulla proved his doubters wrong by helping the C\u2019s attain a 57-25 record in his first season with the team.<\/p>\n<p>To make things better, <a href=\"https:\/\/nbaanalysis.net\/boston-celtics-joe-mazzulla-studying-premier-league-repeat-title-nba-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mazzulla spearheaded the Celtics\u2019 2024 NBA Championship run<\/a> as the organization finally ended its 16-year championship drought.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Mazzulla has a phenomenal 74.0% winning rate with the Celtics during the regular season as the team has a 182-64 record under his leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Boston Celtics trust Joe Mazzulla to bring more glory to the franchise<\/p>\n<p>At 36 years old, Mazzulla is one of the youngest head coaches in the NBA. After all, he has a combined six years of experience as an assistant and a head coach in the league.<\/p>\n<p>Despite that, the C\u2019s seem to trust Mazzulla as their long-term head coach.
