SAN ANTONIO \u2014 San Antonio police are looking for the suspect responsible for a south-side shooting early Saturday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police say a 16-year-old girl showed up at a home off the 5800 block of Analissa around 2 a.m. asking for help.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to SAPD, the girl’s foot was grazed by a bullet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police say the teen was walking with a group of people and one of them had a firearm in their possession. The gun somehow accidentally discharged and struck the victim.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Authorities believe the shooting may have happened at a nearby apartment complex but are still trying to confirm the location.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The teen sustained a non-life threatening injury and was not taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police did not provide any information about the suspect other than they fled in a vehicle after the shots were fired.\u00a0<\/p>\n
