Marie Pohl<\/p>\n<p>The Uragas entered the building, said their \u201cI do\u2019s\u201d and remerged outside as husband and wife into a dense and rowdy anti-Israel protest swarming the entrance of the library.<\/p>\n<p>As the newlyweds took pictures near the steps celebrating their love, the angry crowd chanted \u201cFrom the River to the Sea\u201d and banged pots, pans and metal bowls.<\/p>\n<p>But the shrill shrieks of the demonstrators could not disturb their newly minted marital bliss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe did not let the protest get in the way of our marriage,\u201d Nicole said.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36852411\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/2025-new-york-city-dozens-109694379.jpg\" alt=\"Pro-Palestine march in New York City.\" class=\"wp-image-36852411\"  \/>Pro-Palestine rally and march through midtown Manhattan during the \u201cStand with Gaza: Mass March for Humanity.\u201d Michael Nigro<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a day we\u2019ve planned and we\u2019ve hired a photographer and officiant and it\u2019s a day that means something to us, August 16.
