A 39-year-old woman was injured during a shooting outside of an East Tremont restaurant early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
Police say the victim was shot in the buttocks around 2:30 a.m. She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Sources say the shots came from inside a black sedan that was driving by Garden Bar & Grill.<\/p>\n
The car left after firing additional shots.<\/p>\n
Residents in the area say this kind of behavior happens every week from bar goers on East Tremont Avenue. They say they fear for their safety late at night.<\/p>\n
“God forbid, a stray bullet coming through your window of your son’s room, you know,” said one Schuylerville resident. <\/p>\n
“I don’t ever go out at night at all. I’m afraid to,” said Virginia Strasser, of Schuylerville.<\/p>\n
