{"id":153451,"date":"2025-08-17T15:47:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-17T15:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/153451\/"},"modified":"2025-08-17T15:47:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T15:47:12","slug":"woman-hospitalized-with-life-threatening-injuries-after-north-side-crash-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/153451\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after North Side crash, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash on the North Side, according to San Antonio police. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of Interstate 10 West northbound, near Pasadena and Santa Anna streets. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to a Sunday SAPD preliminary report, multiple witnesses said the woman lost control of her Chevrolet Impala, striking a concrete barrier and colliding with a Toyota Corolla. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Both vehicles were disabled, which caused traffic to stall along the highway, police said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">First responders evaluated the occupants of the Corolla at the scene and cleared them with minor injuries, SAPD said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The woman was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">This is a developing story.
