With the Eagles beginning preparation for the preseason finale, we’re handing out grades for a dreadful offensive performance<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Eagles’ defense allowed 15 first downs<\/a>, 9-16 on third downs, and 331 total yards of offense to Cleveland in a\u00a022-13 preseason loss<\/a>\u00a0at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday afternoon.\u00a0With Jalen Hurts and every key starter on offense sitting out, Philadelphia accounted for 88 yards<\/a> of total offense and 55 yards through the air as an anemic offensive performance was highlighted by a dismal outing from a backup offensive line with several looming roster decisions.<\/p>\n

QB – D<\/p>\n

With Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee resting, Philadelphia had 88 yards of total offense. Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw a pick-6 to former Eagles pass rusher KJ Henry that gave Cleveland a 19-13 lead in the third. Overall, Thompson-Robinson was 5-8 for 17 yards, while McCord was 8-16 passing for 47 yards.<\/p>\n

RB: C-<\/p>\n

With Will Shipley and Saquon Barkley resting, veteran running back AJ Dillon rushed three times for 7 yards and caught a pass for negative-14 yards behind a putrid offensive line performance.<\/p>\n

Montrell Johnson managed 20 yards on six carries in his first preseason action.<\/p>\n

WR — D<\/p>\n

When the offensive line struggles, it becomes a trickle-down impact. Darius Cooper had zero catches, while Terrace Marshall had two catches for 15 yards. Ainias Smith had two grabs for 19 yards.<\/p>\n

TE –D<\/p>\n

E.J. Jenkins had one catch for 12 yards, while Nick Muse had one catch for 7 yards.<\/p>\n

Offensive Line — F<\/p>\n

Brett Toth started at left guard before moving over to the center position. Drew Kendall started at center before he moved to left guard in the second half.<\/p>\n

Darian Kinnard was solid at right guard, while Kendall Lamb started at left tackle. Right tackle Matt Pryor allowed Browns<\/a> defensive end Isaiah McGuire to penetrate and sack Thompson-Robinson in the third quarter.<\/p>\n

Defense – B<\/p>\n
